E90 Brake life?

I started looking into E90's and found a really nice 2011 Comp Package sedan with just under 20k. The only thing is the car is already on it's third set of rotors/pads. That seems pretty excessive even for a car that most likely saw track time. What kind of mileage do you guys who occasionally do track days see?

27,000 miles with no track time on mine, and my iDrive still says I've got some obscene amount of time to go before I replace pads (something like 15,000 miles or 18 months).

Is that car a CPO?

My e90 is brand new so I really can't help you, but I would guess that car saw lots of track time. I know a few BMW owners who track their cars under warranty just so that they can get their brakes replaced for free. And they get their brakes replaced quite often.

If the car is being tracked then it can go through stock pads in 1 - 2 track days.

Wow really? I had mine on the Nurburgring and several track days and there was still plenty of pad left. What track are you going to and did you put 50 lbs of sand in the trunk before you went?

This car definitly saw a lot of track time or the owner rode the brakes all the time! It's not typical of a road driven M3.
