You'd have enough space as long as you're not a LARGE fellow. I'd recommend using a creeper with it, but since I'm a twig I usually army crawl from one end and out the other lol

I have a 4-post lift and planning to add a QJ for easy tire/brake/suspension service.

Just a follow up that I really liked the creeper I bought to use with m QJ.... what a night and day difference from crawling around on the concrete. The side compartments for tools/screws/bolts are super useful. For $40, def a must have to pair with your QJ. |

Does anyone have unloaded height dimensions for this? My jack doesn't fit under my car without going over blocks of wood to provide clearance. Would like to know if I can just slide this under and lift, or would I have to drive on top of blocks of wood to provide enough clearance. Thanks!

I think the the collapsed height is about 2" which is way below the height of my side sills and jacking points when positioning them to lift the car.

Ran into a little disappointment today with the QJ, the BL-5000SLX (model I have) does not fit under my E39 M5. The lift points on the QJ does not reach the jack points on the E39. It looks like QJ has a new model which is the BL-5000EXT offering an additional 6" of length that should fit many more vehicles.
Damn it, I'll go cry myself to sleep now (first world problems) Back to jack stands for the old girl. |

Anyone know, as i assume both lift pieces rely on hydraulic oil/pressure through the lines, if you are storing these, can the two units be separated without oil spewing out?

If so, yes. I have them stacked in my garage with the lines rolled up in a cabinet with the power unit when not in use. They have nice quick disconnects to quickly disassemble and store as desired. |
