Unhappy with my BMW experience
Hey there everyone, I bought a brand new M3 sedan in January with about 24 miles on it and since then I'll be making my 3rd trip to the service center. The car only has about 3000 miles and here are the problems thus far:
1 --> center nav console button not working correctly (solution: console replacement) 2 --> idler pulley making weird whining noises (solution: new idler pulley) 3 --> idler pulley still making noise (solution: I need to take it back to the dealer) I guess my main question is, is it paranoid or stupid for me to be pissed? I am just blowing this out of proportion? |

I'd be annoyed by it.

Definitely not what I'd expect after FOUR FREAKING YEARS of production, but on the other hand, both issues should be fully fixed after replacement. What doesn't make sense is the idler pulley still making noise; I bet dealer diagnosed the wrong one . Once they replace the offending one, issue should be solved. Leave the 'pissed' if your engine develops bearing problems . Good luck man.
