I think it depends on whether you plan on keeping your car for a while. I have a clear bra on mine, but I plan on having mine at least 10 years. Conversely, if you're on a 2 year lease why bother putting a clear bra on it.

I would clear bra it. Every car I have owned gets rock chips in it and touchup paint on them doesnt look the best. I think they are well worth the cost.

It really depends. IMHO, here's how I see it:

Lease = No bra.

Lease, but goes to the track every now and then = Put on bra.

Plan to own the car for more than 5 years, with no plans on going to the track = Put on bra.

Plan to own the car for a long time (< 10 years) and go to the track every now and then = Put on bra.

Gorgeous lady driving an e93 m3 with top down = NO BRA FTW!

I own my M3 (not leased) and have a clear bra on it. Had it on my old M3 also and was glad I did. I def helps a lot imo! You can always have it removed or replaced in a few years and the paint underneath will look great!

say you clear bra the hood, front bumper etc..

does the paint fade at a different rate then the rest of the car that
doesnt have clear bra on it?

EDIT: Spoke with a detailer says the paint will not fade at a different rate
