Good and true words....my dad is dying right now a nasty death from smoking.

Sad thing is, he was a great athlete in HS and college at NYU. When he went to the army in the 50's, they gave you smokes with rations. He smoked until he was 58. He has been fighting cancer twice now over the last 5 years. This time, he won't win.

Nothing is worse......

BTW, not preaching, just saying......

Girlfriend smokes in the car a lot and I do maybe once or twice every month. We always smoke with the windows all the way down and fan off. My car always smells horrible but she (heavier smoker than me) says it doesn't smell at all so that should say something about the people denying the smell. But I'm not really worried about the smell as much as I am about all the ash that she leaves in the car. She ashes outside the window but it always flies back into the car onto the rear seats.

Imagine how much money you could reallocate towards mods if you quit smoking. Cigarettes be real expensive!

someone told me that it's bad for the a/c if you leave it on while smoking. Is it true?

wut i heard is that the a/c will actually circulate the smoke inside the air vents and make the smell stay, i always turn it off when i smoke, my car still smell like a new car.

I don't smoke. Some of my friends do. Does it freak me out? No. Can they smoke in my car? No, but my friends wouldn't ask to. If they want to smoke in my house, I pull an ashtray out of my cupboard and let them smoke. I have no problem with cigarette smokers, and why would I? I smoke a cigar now and again. None of my smoking friends chastise me for anything I do that they find offensive.

Maybe next we should talk about obese people ruining our seats?

It's your car. Do what you want in it. Don't adapt that holier than thou attitude when others do the same.

P.s. I'm an ex-smoker
P.p.s it's not that hard to have sex in this car.

In this day and age, knowing what we know about the link between smoking, cancer, heart and lung disease that smokes is a complete dumbass. Not to mention the implications of smoking and having others pay through our insurance premiums or taxes to try to make you better when you get a disease or are sick from smoking.

Gave it up years ago ... no one else is given the privilege. I don't have any friends that smoke come to think of it.

Way back when I did smoke I stopped at the side of the road to have a puff.
