Running wider spacers up front than rears
There are numerous members here that run say a 15mm spacer up front and a 10mm in the back. It rectifies one of my complaints with the aesthetics but will this have any adverse affects on the handling characteristics with our cars?

I believe that as long as they are quality spacers, there shouldn't be any adverse effects that you can feel on the road.
Tirerack does recommend that you replace wheel lugs more often since longer lugs are used and they experience more strain. |

I'm on 19s with 10mm front and 15mm rear and they fill out the wheel wells almost perfectly. I think 15mm front may be even a little too much, though I think it would fit no problem. I am also on H&R lowering springs. Ride is great, handling is awesome. No complaints on my end

Thanks everyone.
But my concern and confusion is with the wider track up front vs the narrower track in the rears. I know its ONLY 5mm but being a rear drive blah blah blah shouldnt the rears always be wider than the front? |

rear offset is more aggressive and your car is wider on the back , so your front wouldn't be wider than rear ...

FWIW, I would go with 15mm in the rear and 20mm up front. I have 15mm front and back and wish my front was a tad bit more flush with the fender.
