Possible DCT clutch upgrade

As the tittle states it looks like there's hope on this long needed upgrade.
If anyone has any experience or knowledge about this particular company ( http://dodsonmotorsport.com ), clutch pack please share !

IMO I don't see how this is possible when software adjustments is needed for this to even work or at least that's what I always thought.

SSP has a clutch upgrade as well. You have to break the new clutches in with Drivelogic mode 6.

Edit: It seems there is some controversy over the SSP clutch packs, I am not making a recommendation here.

That might be not be the best option then. I'm pretty impressed by the stock DCT transmission's durability but 800whp is a different story

711whp, stock clutches with euro software and it's holding! 4 Airstrip Attacks, 2 track days, tons of spirited runs and plenty of dyno pulls as well.

I'd like to know more about this DriveLogic mode 6 for break in. Granted I'm not a DCT guy, but I haven't seen anybody yet report they got SSP clutches to work at all, let alone with such a break in procedure.

So does anybody know of a single SSP success story?

More important to reference torque numbers then HP.

Torque kills clutches.

There is a DCT upgrade that can hold whatever torque you throw at it...... It's called 6MT!

DCT's are limited to big HP figures when compared to 6mt, drew is the only one who has successfully tested the limits of the DCT, as far as the 6mt goes ESS and izzy/IMG are the only two (that I know of ) that are going to be pushing 800+whp on stock clutches , well IMG is not Sure what route ESS is going to take considering they are building a 1,000 whp setup but they have clutch upgrades available whereas DCT's don't......

I have a low compression 4.4l built motor going In next month that's capable of 1,000+ whp and I personally would like to see a DCT clutch upgrade....
