My New E92 on Order

My lease is up on my 335i in August and I placed an order for a new E92 M3 Coupe! Here are the details:

Jerez Black
ZPP with black leather and brushed aluminum trim
6MT
Style 220M's
Heated seats
Ipod and USB adapter

I considered the 335is but in the end I decided to pony up the extra cash for the M3. I just didn't see the value in the IS as it appears to be a slightly modded 335i. The M3 is an entirely different car and for the extra $10,000 is was a no-brainer. Now the hard part - waiting until August for delivery.

Cheers!

Thank you! Gotta love the manual T - its the only way to go.

However I have been stressing about the color. All of my 3er's have been black (two were black sapphire and currently JB) so I wanted something different but I can't seem to get away from black. I love the idea of Melbourne Red but it seems flashy and I am afraid I would tire of it. I was also thinking Space Gray but Jerez is a ///M specific color so I went with it. It looked great in the showroom but I have not seen it in daylight. Fack!

Congrats. Dark colors like black are also my favorites. Gotta go with what your gut wants!

I also like your choice of options. It seems like ZTP is almost always chosen, and while I think it's a nice option, I also like the idea of an M car without it.

Agreed. I opted out of ZTP as I really don't use NAV and I like the clean look of the dash without the NAV screen. Anyway, I am a MAN, and don't need some computer to provide directions!!

No longer worried about the color. I saw a Carbon Black M5 in town and that color is sick.

Don't fret about the color, you won't regret it at all. My previous M3 was red and I did in fact get tired of it. My current one is Jerez and I love it as much as day one! You can see a bit of the blueish hue in this sunlight pic.

Exactly. I had a red 5.0 Mustang back in the day and I grew tired of the color. When I was in the dealership ordering the M3 I was unsure of what color I wanted (I was going back and forth b/t Jerez and SG). My CA asked a couple other people and everyone said black without hesitation. The last person he asked was this blonde looking at the new 5er. She gave me the stink eye and said black like I was a putz for even asking. Feeling humiliated after being called out, I went for the Jerez and I am glad I did. Your car looks sick in that light BTW.

I too went back and forth about color. It was a TOUGH decision, but I think I (and you) made the right call.

That pic was after a few hrs of detailing. Optimum OptiSeal will make your life a lot easier in regards to keeping the car nice and shiny.

Cool, just make sure your fine being with out the m botton modes that come with teck package, i could live wo the nav, but I wanted the m settings. It changes the car drastically. But I have dct. Not sure the 6mt is the same in that regard. I'm sure whatever you choose it will be awesome. I love this car as much as day one

In the same camp as you. Going to M3 after 3 years in 335. The 335is is not comparable to the M3...we made the right decision. I shoud take delivery on 8/4 or so. Congrats to you!
