Thought the Benz was more expensive

shouldnt you be juiceboxing your 2011 335i? also this is the wrong section, this is the "general" m3 section....i believe someone mentioned the correct forum for you to justify your purchase of a 335i

and the M3 wins in looks interior and exterior hands down! the 63 has a big engine what do you expect? its a nice car though my brother has one

I am going to buy the M3! I am just waiting for the 2012 production line like I said, with 3 more months to go in 2011, I don't want to buy the older model. If they had the 2012 in production tomorrow, I'd order one this week.

I am not justifying anything about my 335 nor I am undermining the M3. If not, would I have admit to the fact that I will order one? I am seriously considering keeping the 335 for my wife, it all depends on if I can get the 2.9% I have now on 335 in the M3.

Wow though, you guys are like attacking me left and right, I think it comes with the ZCP in the M3? I didn't mean to troll or annoy anyone. No, I have never driven an AMG, so I can't really say anything. I said what I said judging by the looks of both cars.

M3 is the best car in the universe. I will never sit in a mercedes-benz.

It isn't just about being fanboys. It is about someone coming to an M3 forum, posting about other cars without any real experience, making uninformed comments... all just seemingly to stir up crap. If I went to a Corvette forum, posted up something about how the new Mustang kicks the crap out of a Z06, I would get a similar response... even IF I then said I'm buying a Z06. By the way, I don't like what I'm seeing here lately about the M3s. One goes to N on its own, the other blew a gasket, other one leaked oil and burned out, my god if any of those happen to me I don't know what I'd do.

Have you EVER driven a C63 AMG? Have you ever driven an M3? I can say yes to both. First, the M3, IMO, has the better interior. The AMG is plastic everywhere. The C63 interior is NOT like other Mercs. As to "brand", my take on Mercedes is you buy one just before you buy a coffin. Luxury? See my comments on interior... same deal. The C class are NOT the luxury cars the other Mercs are.

The ONE advantage of the Merc is straight line speed. You say that the M3 is only for a track, right? Well, the ONLY way you experience the difference in straight line performance of the AMG vs M3 is on a track or before going to jail if one a public road. The AMG is MUCH harder to control the power. Most inexperienced drivers cannot put the power down without traction nannies cutting you off... AKA wasted power for a lot of applications.

As to the reviews being biased, almost ALL of the comparison tests favour the M3 and not one has said that it was only because it is the better track car. Calling bias is bullshit and just an excuse for those who don't like the results. Seems to me that if someone thinks a magazine is "biased" it would be towards the larger company (Mercedes) who can throw the biggest dollars around.

Lastly, for DD duties, whoever thinks the M3 isn't a great daily driver doesn't own one. It has WAY more power than needed on public streets at all speeds. Period. Many reviews comment on the dual nature of the car... docile and comfortable around town and a monster on the track or when driving aggressively.

So... stop stirring up crap. Stop justifying your 335 purchase. Stop trying to convince yourself the M3 is the lesser car to a 335 or C63.

P.S. The C63 AMG is a great car but your comments relative to the M3 are just wrong.

Benz's are for old people in my opinion. That is generalizing it quite a bit as they are nice cars, just have an older person feel to them. Maybe it is because I live in AZ. Anyways, another thing the C63 AMG doesn't offer: A drop top version

I don't quite understand what you are trying to do here. You started the thread stating how the c63 is superior to the m3 other than handling, and that if you wanted that one can just get a evo 10, but you insisted that you will be getting the m3 and will never sit in a Mercedes. Why don't you get the evo? Am I missing something?
