VentureShield safe bug and tar remover

The installer I worked with for my custom/edge wrapped clear bra said NO petroluem products on the bra. They also recommended a basic citrus degreaser for cleaning tar and bugs from the bra. Well that does not do s%&#. Really, I might as well use a nail file. It did seem like the wrong type of cleaner from the get go. Can someone recommend a good strong bug and tar remover safe for both the regular clear coat, wheels AND most importantly safe for this clear bra? Please don't make suggestions if you are not either 100% sure about the compatibility for this bra material either based on discussion with the film manufacturer or plenty of trial and error. Thanks much.

^ good referral but those do look like general purpose products, not one specifically for the really tough tar and bugs.

wax is not going to get rid of the bugs, it is only going to seal over them and make them harder to get off!

I have Ventureshield on my car and it is difficult to remove bugs sometimes. On a previous car I made the mistake of rubbing to hard and ended up dulling the bra in that spot.
Now:
1. I drink half a bottle of water
2. Squirt a drop of dishwashing soap into the 1/2 empty bottle(safe and mild) I wouldn't use a bug/tar remover.
3. Apply to front bumper/hood lightly and soaking it nice and good
4. Come back in 5 min, go over bumper again everything should come of easily.
5. If I happen to be washing the whole car also, I will apply some foam polish when I'm done.

The key is to do this even if your car doesn't need to be washed so the bugs don't get baked on in the sun. So every couple of days, maybe. Good Luck.

My detailer also purchased something for the rubber I'm hitting at the autocross. Works very well. Not sure what it is, but my detailer loves it. You should contact Premier about it.
