Interesting that it says collision even though you mentioned it being flooded.

Yes it was flood, no accident. I pulled my black grills and melbourne red corners. Rest of the interior is in the trunk, have no idea where the carpet is (was hanging to dry inside the shop at one time).

I like the hood can't open tag (they removed the hood latch lever). It still opens.

seems quite dishonest by Geico to list it as wrecked when it was well established as flooded. seems like something they would sued for later.

You can't triple stamp a double stamp.

Should have at least removed his exhaust before sending it to auction.

Ahahhaha i was just looking at that car ironically. I want to grab that exhaust ( any idea what exhaust it is) and piano black trim off that car, maybe those taillights as well..

Tried calling the auction house to find out if they would give me the name of whoever bought it.

No luck. Anyone know where i can find out who buys it?

And you cant change your bid.

I dont think its a member nobody i know in the S. florida section at least.

This is so sad. It must be awful to see your car like that! I also noticed they listed collision vs flood. What's up with that?

Since he was driving, he collided with a wall of flood water, so it's a collision.

I completely just made that up.

Your corvair reminds me of the great times I had driving my cousins Corvair Monza Turbo Spyder Convertable back in the day. That was a super fun car to go out in and just cruise around for the fun of driving.

I agree. I'd rather have a car that was in a costly collision, yet made "whole" than a car lost to flooding. You can replace panels, but it's unlikely that flood damage will ever be quite right.

How do they expect you to bid on that when it's missing the key? Sheesh...

Yikes, destroyed with less than 9k on the clock. RIP

I hope that the driver was ok?
