Tire size question
I have OEM suspension, non zcp, and I'm buying zcp wheels with tires.
Will these rear tires fit a stock non zcp car? Will the look be off? 245/35/19 front 275/30/19 rear Stock I believe are 245/35 and 265/35 |

The wheels will fit just fine. You will have 10mm more fender gap with the non-ZCP suspension. The rear tire size is WAY too small. If you want 275 in the rear, go with 275/35/19

Thanks, when you say small, you mean it'll look too short? Will it be that noticeable?

Going to a 275/35/19 in the rear will only increase the rolling diameter by 7mm over stock. It will also reduce your visible fender gap a little. I actually think a 245/35(f) and 275/35(r) is a great way to go.

I'm aware that the rears will wear faster as it'll have more revolutions per mile than stock. so this guy, he's also using 275/30/19, although he's running square 19x10 AVG wheels, I suppose my rear gaps would look like this? same car, just a blue wrap: Last edited by mdosu; 08-03-2013 at 08:32 AM.. |

i had 265-30 in the ad08s all the way around and didnt have any extra dsc issues. i changed both the front and rear diameter but to a similar amount. not sure what changing just one end will do.

probably just sent you into a tree if you try to drive in the rain. your scary moment will turn into a tragic one when MDM doesnt know what to do. i would say if you do it just go do a good burnout video and put some matching ps2 in 275-35 on when your done.

275/35's may be preferred and closer to stock OD. However, 275/30's will work just fine for the time being. The look will be fine. You will not have DSC issues.
Wonder how I know? These are the exact sizes I'm running right now. I have summer wheels that I repurposed from my E46 M3 and they had these tires on 'em. When they're done, I'd probably 275/35's on but, for now, they're just fine. Let me know if you need some pics or if you have any other questions |

Just watch out for potholes with those rubber band rears.
A little off subject but when it comes time to replace them, consider sticking with stock sizes and go with the superb PSS. A PSS in 275 is only .2" (5mm) wider in tread width than their 265. The PSS in 265 is broad, 5mm wider tread width than the PZero in the same size which to me was meaty. Why add a couple of pounds and increased OD for .2"? |
