So I couldn't resist... Sold my white 08 cabrio and came across this rare beauty! 2010 e92
So the differences, the coupe handles much better, it's almost chalk and cheese between the two. Performance wise, the car definitely feels lighter which makes it feel more responsive. The new idrive system is million times better! Much faster, easier to navigate as well as a few other extras like the equaliser. I had the car transported from WA to NSW and unfortunately the front bar was damaged in the process. Luckily, they've agreed to replace so vorsteiner gts5 coming very soon! The colour? Well I didn't see the car in person prior to purchasing and was skeptical that I wouldn't like it. It was delivered at night and the colour looked nice, that is until the next morning with the sun out. When the sun hit the colour, I was ð±ððððð!! Probably the best way to describe it lol! So what's next? Vorsteiner bar, gloss grills, smoked side grills and carbon fibre hood vents. That's all from a cosmetic perspective. The wheels I may do a little later, thinking matte black 21s... I'm confused from the performance side... Blower or exhaust first? Suggestions? I've only taken a couple pics but will update once I've got the new bar etc. |

100% blower first.
I saved for it, by far worth it. You could always do the OEM exhaust mod for a better sound. I remember seeing this car online for a while, I think in person it would be a very nice colour! |

the pictures definitely don't do it justice! its an individual called sepang bronze. honestly i was blown away by it in the sun.
I've been craving to get a blower since the day i bought the cabrio! I'm just worried about ongoing maintenance... how long have you had yours on there? have you had any issues? |

Nice. Looks like it has a key lock on the passengers door which I've never seen before.

Nice colour!
Exhaust or blower will be great, but you will end up getting both... When I was first deciding I went with the blower as it was better bang for buck, but then I met a few M3 owners and heard their exhausts and needed to have one haha Maintenance isn't too bad with the blower, I just do an oil change every 5-7,000kms

Gorgeous colour! I would have guessed Marrakesh Brown. Both are interesting colours.

Congratulations on a very individual E92! I have a blower and exhaust on my car - they both work together really well. Given your situation, just get the blower first. If you hadn't owned an E9X M3 before, then an exhaust first would allow you to get accustomed to the car, however i am sure you know what its all about so charge that b1tch!! |

Thanks for all the comments guys.
The vorsteiner order will be placed in the next few days, although there is a huge lead time of about 4 - 5 weeks from IND, then add another week for transit, a little frustrating, but im sure itll be worth the wait! The shipping cost alone is almost $1600! Not happy! |

Previous owner only had it a short time, apparently needed the $$ to invest in property.
Had the car professionally inspected prior to purhcase, and the car also came with extended warranty till 2016 for extra piece of mind. I have already "stretched" its legs in true M fashion and feels very juicy to me! Where is the dyno day? is it in Sydney? |

The dyno day is on at Advan performance located in Sydney. These guys are where most bmw owners go to in Sydney for logbook servicing or performance mods. Some details on the dyno day: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=963460 Advan's website: http://www.advanperformanceeuro.com.au/ Most dyno days get's a good mix of cars 135i/335i/1M's/M3's/M5's and the odd AMG, VW etc |
