I've never pulled up on it so no idea. Why pull up? Mine is rock hard all the time.

LOL. I was sort of expecting these comments.

When you shift you actually apply some upward force, especially accelerating hard. That's when it pops. Same goes for downshifting, but downwards.

I want rock hard again!

But seriously, guys, anyone experienced similar?

My 2011 with 20k is fine. Although I almost exclusively use the paddles to shift. I've used the knob to shift maybe a handful of times.

Any ideas on how to fix this bs.

Thanks!
Not normal at all, DCT handle should be solid.

It's not rock hard anymore, maybe it's not feeling attracted to you anymore?

but seriously, I have a 6MT, and after I changed my knob, mine pops out from time to time if I tug on it over the course of the week. Have you just tried jamming it down with a little force, and see if it still has some play?

i'm serious. I'm not saying punch it with a hammer, but just push it down with your palm with a bit of force and see if that resolves the issue.
