CF Q's.

So in regard to carbon fiber options, 1x1 and 2x2 are the typical options. 1x1 is small/more fine than the 2x2, which is larger.

Is this correct?

Also, I've noticed most exterior parts are 1x1. Is there a reason for this?

I was assuming it was just an aesthetic choice at the owners disgression, but wanted to ask to make sure.

AH, gotcha. Too bad I'm planning on getting the sedan. Hopefully they'll come out with some sort of CF roof retrofit.

1x1 is the smaller pattern like the OEM roof so for the E9X M3, I recommend doing 1x1 for all of the exterior CF parts.
