You can in the iDrive.
Always on for me. Not only to make the car more visible for safety, but it's one of the best parts of the car. I can stare at my angel eyes all day long. Oh and I prefer the OEM AE's btw. The tone is perfect, but I wish it was a little brighter from factory.

does anyone know if using the drl's wears out the battery faster?there was some discussion on an old thread that i can't find about whether or not. they used some small amount of extra gas by putting an extra load on the battery

If you don't like the attention, the giant hood bulge, side vents, quad exhaust and the V8 howling probably doesn't help then.

Mine are OFF after I realized that the rear lights are also turned on when daytime running lights are on. Also, I'm not particularly interested in letting people know what I driving.

I coded my rear DRL out. So I only drive w/ front DRL's always on.
