Just checked the UK online configurator for the M3 Coupe and guess what…… it shows the new idrive controller.
Now BMW UK has already confirm the new idrive in the ’09 M3, so I just quickly checked the US configurator, it also shows new idrive controller!!! Do we all believe now the new idrive is coming to ALL ’09 M3? Lets hear the doubters now!!!! Is this not 100% proof? |

The new baby is complete and waiting to be released.
I was advised by email today from BMW that the baby is installed with the new Idrive. Let the wait begin, can anybody tell me about how long it takes now that the car is complete and ready to be released ? a rough guess is fine as well Thanks Scott |

My E93 should be in the same group as yours. And yours has the new iDrive..Excellent! My dealer told me it would not have the new system. Glad they're wrong.

Lol. What a piece of work that guy was.
In all fairness though, I want to wait until we have visual proof of the new iDrive system in an E92. PencilGeek seems like a standup guy, and I have no worries that he'll renege on the bet like westy did. Regardless, as we've both said before, this bet was all about keeping this hot topic interesting, not the money. If we lived in the same area, I'd just as soon let him buy me a cold one or have him take a goofy picture with his car and post it on the forum (open to the latter idea). |

Take two steps back.............breathe...........relax...............and read my post again. I wasn't necessarily questioning your integrity. I don't know you personally, which is why I said that I hope you do honor the bet (..in other words, attempting to give you the benefit of the doubt). Hell, I even added a smiley to assert that I wasn't being malevolent. Sheez!

For the record, Sedan_Clan was poking at another guy on the forum who didn't follow through on a bet he lost with a different forum member. His comment was not intended to cast aspersions on your character. Shoot away, buddy. I'm still stuck in the office and could use a good laugh. |
