Good for you. Mine has a few small bubbles forming.....I have yet to contact JL. Such a PITA to box and ship again, etc, etc, etc. I may just live with it. It aint too noticable. You have to get close, and at the proper angle, to see them. They are all on the "mid section" of the lip. The part under the "mouth" of the bumper. Someday I may take pics....when I am bored out of my mind for something to do. lol

No idea. I would say just contact them. Like I said, I really don't feel like taking them time to go through all the BS...uninstall, ship, receive, re-install, etc., etc. I will just live with it until I can't stand it anymore, then junk it. Lesson learned.

Hmm interesting... yea mine looks perfect! I compared it to my friends actual vorsteiner and they both looked identical finish/fitment. He was actually pissed

Mine has a couple rock chips here and there.

The bubble is probably from the clearly coat. You can have a body shop sand it down and reclear it for you.

Maybe. The lip did not have bubbles....it was perfect. I sent the first one back as it had a nasty clear coat run in it and a cosmetic blemish on the corner that was a "white" piece of fiberglass over the CF. The replacement lip looked pretty perfect. A few weeks ago I noticed it has a LOT of "bubbles" on it now. Not sure how they got there. You can feel them on the surface...which used to be perfectly smooth. It's like the clearcoat is bubbling off the underlayment or something. I dunno.

I am not trying to discourage anybody here. It appears pretty much everybody else has had zero issues. Prolly just an isolated incident.

It's a known problem with fiberglass based CF products. The fiberglass is breathing underneath the clear coat causing the clear to expand and bubble out.

Mine has only a chip in the front due to a scrap. It's holding up so far after 3 months and 5k miles.

Anyone have pics of the 3D or VRS front lip painted Jerez to match the color of the car? I was planning on ordering matte/plastic and having it painted.

Thanks!
