FS: 2008 BMW M6 - One Of A Kind!!!

Hey guys,

So I decided to sell my M6. I love the car, but I think its time for an SUV for now. I need a change. For those who know me, they know this car is immaculate. It currently has 33 000km, it has never been winter driven and barely driven in the rain. This car must be seen to understand the condition it is in. It looks brand new inside and out. The car is Alpine White on Indy Red Interior. This car has every single option possible, it has the 7 Speed SMG Transmission, Full Leather Package with Suede roofliner, Heads up Display, Carbon Fiber Interior Trim, Sirius Satelite Radio, Soft close doors, Tinted windows, Heated seats, GPS Navigation, Bluetooth etc etc. The 5.0 V10 is the last of its kind from BMW.

PRICE DROP: $61 800 - STOCK
$69 800 - WITH ALL MODS

Mods include:
-Eisenmann Race Exhaust
-RD Sport Springs
-21" 360 Forged ($7500 value)
-Full LED Interior Lighting
-Carbon Fiber Front Lip, Side Gilles, Front Grilles, Lower Mirror Covers.
and much more...

Can't compare US prices...a 2007 M6 is still about 50-60k here depending on mileage and condition.

Brand new the prices are very different too

US car... However, it has been fully converted by BMW canada.
Over $4000 spent just on meeting BMW Canada requirements to "canadianize" the car. It is not a must to do this when importing a vehicle from the US but this way there are no issues when/if warranty issues arise in the future.

The car has had the steering wheel trim replaced by Town + Country BMW. They normally would not replace trim pieces on US vehicles because they actually don't have to. But because all the mods were done to comply with BMW canada. They changed the trim piece.

It's true, either way you go, you'll be paying out the ass to own an M car.

Got to disagree with you on that one. An '08 M3 which had a sale price of mid 70's, sells for high 50's after almost 4 years. 20G to drive an M3 for 4 years with all maintenence covered is actually pretty cheap in my opinion.

Good luck with the sale Slammed

don't look at what autotrader shows...because if you went to BMW right now (or any other dealer) and wanted to trade in your car for something new. you would not get high 50s for an 08 M3, and most definitely not for a Sedan.

And a loaded M3 is more then just mid 70's, isnt it?

MSRP on my well optioned sedan was about $78,000...we all know that no one buying a late '08 paid even close to MSRP...I have 25,000km on my very well optioned '08 Sedan and a trade, I agree, I would not get mid to high 50's, but even if I sold it privately for anywhere in the 50's, I would say it's a fair total investment to drive an M3 for 3.5 years. I'm not sure of many cars that hold 65-70% of their value over 3.5 years....especially a $78,000 car. All I'm saying is that your not getting rapped by owning an M car...you are actually better off for owning an M car, then most other cars in that price range.

And if I looked at what Autotrader shows for a 25,000km M3, I would say I could get $60,000 which I agree is not true.

Anyway, good luck with your sale.
What SUV's are you looking at?

Well, last summer my 2008 M3 coupe loaded with only 20K KMS (now sold) was purchased from a dealer on a very quick flip from a guy who had just traded it in on a 2011 M3. He had paid over 90K for the car and got 50K on his trade. That's 40K+ drop of depreciation in 2 years!! This guy didn't want to deal with the hassles of the private sale and I can understand that too but, damn, that's too much money to lose. Anyways, his loss, my gain. I eventually sold the car for 60K but still kicking myself for doing it too soon.

Wow...original owner was not too bright. Paid over MSRP and sold it for 50G in 2010?

Another bump for Slammed

I took the car off the market for a few months, but I just put it back on autotrader. I need to sell the car ASAP, I have dropped the price to $64 800 if you want it without the exhaust, wheels and CF bits. We can work out a deal on the mods if you want them too.. bump for me!

$64 800 is 2nd cheapest 2008 M6 on the trader, and with way less mileage. THIS IS A GREAT DEAL...
