Multiple times, but each time they seems to have an excuse. During the holidays they said they got alot of request for cages. It is just running close to the beginning of the season.

So i am finally getting my roll cage. I would love to install it myself but i dont know how hard it is. I got a quote from a local shop for 1100 to install it and that is way too much. Does anyone have a DIY on how to install a bolt in roll cage? How much drilling is needed to bolt it to the frame?
Thanks, |

should be pretty straight forward. Just look at it and put it in. You'll only have to drill the feet. Pull the seats for install access also. |

I had a fabricator quote me on building a half bolt in removable cage made of chromoly with reinforced mounts to avoid puncturing the chassis in case of a roll over. He quoted me $1800 if i removed the interior my self, this included paint and installation and a 2 week return. You might want to try a local cage builder.

This is one of ours. We have another style that is more of a "bolt in" and makes install much easier as well as affordable shipping. The one pictured is more for the track cars that want a solid bar with no breaks for bolts or those who may want to continue off of their roll bar into a full cage in the future. They're both made with chromoly and tig welded for strength and precision. Below is a raw one and a powdercoated one. Lots of color options available, feel free to ask any questions and PM for pricing. IMG_5562 by RaceWerkz, on Flickr IMG_5645 by RaceWerkz, on Flickr IMG_5608 by RaceWerkz, on Flickr |

you need the hardware? That's just bolts. You didn't get the plates from VS? That's a little more entailed. Contact them and tell them. |

So after this long journey, i finally got the roll cage/bar, but we went today to try to install it but the fitment is off by a 1/2 inch, The plate by the B pillar are a 1/2 inch off the floor boards. I do not know what to do. I think my only option is to fab up some plates to fit in between.
Driver side plate near B pillar This is the Bar near the roof |

If it's really that bad go to a chassis shop and they may be able to add a plate or cut and weld the tube to drop straight to the floor. I've said it before, but this is why it's best to have the cage built to the car from the get go. |
