exhaust silencers

anything made for the E9x platforms? what if someone has a loud exhaust and wants to go on the track w/ db maximums?

I know this exists on gt3s and other sports cars, anything for the m?

Yeah I think the EVO would pass the regulations, but what about a louder setup that wouldn't?

i.e. I am limiting myself from having a louder system on the street because of the requirement I have on the track.

I want aftermarket exhaust, not alteration of the stock one.

way too much drama with Meisterwtv and GTHaus and Eisenhaus for me to consider it

Just get an exhaust with removable tips like the AA Exhaust I have. Then go to a custom muffler shop like I did and have them make you some custom tubes that curve downward.

This cuts about 4db and brings even my loudass exhaust to legal track limits at our local tracks. When I was in Tremblant I was black flagged at 92.4 DB's ... Limit is 92 so use tips and you're good. They are ugly as hell but only to be used at the track. I bring them to all my track days in case I get black flagged.

Which one did you go to? Like Mr Muffler?

Specialized muffler place off Cote De Liesse (south side I forget exactly where) and I paid about $200 for 4 tips with bolts.
