how to follow the progress of my car with the production number

I have acquired the production number of my car today. Where should i go? How can i check? Thanks for the help

go to bmwusa.com and sign in or if you dont already have an account with bmw finacial make an account and then go to add vehicle and type in your production #

As a fellow Canadian, I have to say that unfortunately, you will have to phone BMW Canada to get updates, also call your salesman, who will have good info on tracking. We don't get internet tracking (unless things have changed since August 2009).

The order/tracking section of the forum is also an awesome place to look for information on tracking your car as it is shiped and other cool stuff.

know my E90 week 10 is on a boat currently (as comminicated Tuesday morning by my SA), any fellow Canadian that has info on their boat or their port of arrival would be appreciated i.e. are their dedicated ships coming to Canada or are they shared...?

I have to guess I am very close - say another 7 days on the boat, 2 days to TO, and a few days to prep....

Mine came on a Wallenius Wilhelmsen ship called Don Pasquale. Google it, you may be able to figure out which ship you are on and then track the ship.

Thank you, it looks like this ship is just North of Oz at the moment.

I am wondering if I am on the Michigan Highway, if it stops in Halifax before heading to the east coast of the US, this may be my ship.

I noted the last ship "Faust" dropped in Halifax earlier this week then went on to New York.

I don't know how many ships leave Bemerhaven each week for N/A......

I will be watching the Halifax arrivals.

Hey lugainy .... my car was on the ship ELEKTRA that ported in Halifax this monday. If yours was a week 10 production it was probrably on the same ship. If you call your dealer he can tell you if your car has arrived in Halifax yet and if it is on route by train.

. I don't believe that my car will be here by mid may like my SA promised
