For retro, you can't deny these:

Rayban Wayfarer: $110

And if you want to be a true BAMF (or guido), get these:

Oakley Medusa: $700 ($500 for the hat thing and $250 for the goggles)

wtf?

I love these. I got hooked up with an O-Form last year by an Oakley Rep and got these glasses for $135. Bought my brother a pair too.

I ride a motorcycle and they're great if you don't like wearing a helmet. They protect your eyes very welling. (I don't want to hear any crap about not wearing a helmet either)

My only complaint, is that the rubber seems to wear out really fast.

Nice.. yes I tried those on before, a bit heavy for my taste, but the fit is very snugged surprisingly for how big they are compared to my face. The rubber pieces get quiet expensive as well I believe like 15 bucks for the nose and ear socks. =/

I have a pair of Maui Jim Koa's in Gunmetal. Cost me $270 3 years ago, and they are still good. Solid frames made from titanium. The way I look at it is they are worth every penny, and as long as they dont break or get lost, they should be good from around 10 years ~ $27 a year for good shades!

I've never worn sunglasses because of the necessity of perscription lenses. However, I just got Lasik so now I'm in the market to buy a nice pair. What advantages do the polarized lenses provide over the non-polarized lenses?

I have two:

Maui Jim Harbor 206 (Gunmetal Black/Neutral Grey), about $300

Oakley Polarized Square Whisker (Brown/Tungsten Iridium), about $200

Picked up the MJ's last year and love them. I don't think I'll buy another Oakley set after enjoying the MJ's so much. Worth every penny.
