Is there a cheaper alternative to 360 Forged Mesh 8's ?

I totally love Catch M3's E90, hand downs one of the best E90's ever. Well another killer E90 is the red Beast done by Ind, that is awesome too.

I am looking to get into an E90 next month, and first thing I want to get are new shoes, lowering, and window tint. I am having the hardest times finding the right design of wheels I like, but seeing Catch M3's car, the more and more I look, I keep going back to digging his rims the most. They are 360 Forged Mesh 8's I believe ?

But the price on those babies with tires is out of my league now to be honest. Does anyone else make a tire that is somewhat close to that design for a more value price ?

HRE is not cheaper. There are a lot of 3 piece wheel companies that have mesh alternatives. Too many to list, but do a search for forged wheels, and just pick one. I would suggest e-mailing Peter @ Wheel Experts, and asking him. He can hook you up. He really is a wheel expert.

I am assuming that the OP is asking about a 3-piece mesh wheel, not a monoblock mesh wheel. HRE's 3-piece wheels typically cost more. I bought my 360 Forged Mesh 8's for $4,900.

I am looking to spend half that much maximum for new wheels, would rather spend the rest of my money on engine upgrades and body stuff too.

I like the design of the 360 Meshed 8's in that brushed aluminum look, just seeing if there is a similar wheel for much less from another company ?

You'll have a hard time finding a quality wheel for around $2,500.

Thanks for the link. But it is 70+pages long, I just scrolled through like 10 pages and no pics of these wheels yet ? And what about the price ? I did see the RG4 model pics, but those look lame I am sorry to say. They are form the old gen M cars, don't fit the look of the new E9x series in my opinion.

Yeah, unfortunately it will be hard finding what you want for that cheap. You might get lucky and find a used set somewhere.

For now I am digging the VMR V710. I hope they are not crap quality for the good price ? With tires can be had brand new for under $2k

Velocity Motoring's wheels are a very good, inexpensive mesh type wheel. They may not be the lightest wheels, but they look good, and they are in your price range with tires.

Thanks.

Which design do you think looks best on an E90 M3 ?

The cost associated with Mesh 8's should be the least of your concerns...there are other things about 360 that come to mind.

Yes, very long thread. Only for the hardcore...

In short the price is $3750 (edit: for a set of 4!), pics here, group buy closing within a week or so. Colors not finalized but there will be many choices. Hope this helps.

Personally, I would go with the VB3's, in the following specs...

19" x 9.5" ET22
19" x 10" ET25

These would look great.
