Yes, the stock muffler needs to be cut.
No sport are on order, only race systems.

how does the race compared to the sport? deeper sound?

The race is much louder than the sport overall. The sport is equal to OEM in terms of decibel but it offers a deeper tone. The race is louder throughout all the RPM range.

It looks like this thread and the website say its for the E92 M3 only. What about an E90 M3 sedan? The coupe is longer by around 1.5 inches and Im told the hangers can be adjusted by the local muffler shop that tosses these on? to ensure that they do not stick out too much? Please confirm. Yeah, we got the website listing updated (and still about to update to ensure correct fitments and information), so it has sport and race available.
