BMW M3 Pick-up LIVE! From BMW's M Event in Germany
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW M3 Pick-up LIVE! From BMW's M Event in Germany We are officially live from the BMW M Event in Germany. Jason and Southlight are both at the event having fun right now and have sent over the first pictures of the M3-Ute that was rolled out for the crowd. You can read all the details and download the official photos of the M3 Pickup here. Just to recap to stop all the crazy speculation about jokes, etc... This is a one-off car made for internal BMW M use (as a transport "truck" for the BMW M Workshop), and is not intent for production! Don't take the car so seriously, its just for fun, live a little I will update this thread as more live pictures come available! |

Hasn't Scott's signature been about something happening on 4/1/11 for the F10 M5 Concept?

Check my thread on the E90 M3 LTW. For sure that's at the show, but may or may not be what is under the cover. Like I say, I could see them doing an M5 tease too (maybe even with a production prototype rather than the concept prototype). |

It weighs less than the M3 convertible. That is all and more the information I need to know the Vert is a bloated pig!

Was there ever any doubt?
The vert is definitely heavy, yup. Some people seemed to think this would weigh less than the coupe, which never seemed likely to me. I think its pretty clear now (if it wasn't before) that this was built on the convertible chassis and will naturally be heavier than the coupe. |

if BMW didn't waste hundreds of thousands of dollars on an April fool's joke, maybe they wouldn't have to keep raising their prices every year!!
