I may be the outlier here, but I think BBS should make these in 19's

Fair enough. I think the wheels look great and I think they are for the "drive around and get noticed" tuner, therefore the 20" was BBS's priority. Someone very serious about performance would not go with 20" wheels, regardless whether they're forged.

I would get these for driving around if the streets here were better quality, keeping the stock for Michelin PSC.

+1. For the price these are going to be, it's not an upgrade. 19s are a must and get the weight down to the 24-26# range, at least.

I'm going with RAC if shep comes up with a design I like.

If they made this wheel in a forged version, it could be epic. Like almost LM epic.

Agreed! A 19in Forged version, and I think I would have solved my wheel dilemma.

That might be the RAC wheel Greg mentioned.

i have a feeling 20" is a trend that started by the nissan gtr. lol

I think 19" is max for any car. anything bigger is just simply too big and there is not much room left for the tires. if you hit a pot hole, you are pretty much done.

Well, on the E46 19s took a 30-series tire. On the E92 you can run the same 30-series on a 20. So, in terms of rim protection, 20s on this car are similar to 19s on the last model. That being said, 20s are bling overkill, IMHO.

So what size tires would work well on these since they only come in 20"?
265/30 up front and 285/30 out back?

255/30-20 front and 285/30-20 would be a great set up.

Of course we have not tried it but the 295/25-20 might work and It might be a nicer set up for the rear.
