GTS Spoiler mounting?
Is there any knock off manufacturer that makes a spoiler that actually mounts correctly and provides real downforce? I had an AKRYM front lip and it was the biggest POS ever. Fitment wasn't great but most importantly it kept ripping itself off at 140mph. I know from seeing the OEM GTS lip spoiler that it actually mounts on metal braces. It seems that all aftermarket lips all are the same that they mount just using tape and the factory bolts under the bottom. Is there anything else comparable other than OEM or a lip that actually works that doesn't rip off and cost 4k? Thanks!

First of all install it right, second stop driving like a maniac so it won't ripped off. If you want reliable lip get the OEM cf splitter and stop being a jack A$$ going 140mph before you kill someone.. Lmfao

Mounting front lips with tape is not a good idea.
Most of the GT4 lips that I have seen are mounted with bolts. Mine is bolted to my front bumper and has held up to high speeds, track days, and many slams and bumps during normal driving. I know the Mode lips/RKP lips/Fiberworkz GT4 lips can all be mounted solidly with mounting screws and bolts. You just have to take the plunge and drill through the front bumper.

Not sure what information you want. I have seen various RKP, Fiberworks GT4 and a few different Mode lips in person. All them bolted to the front bumper if required. There are many other quality lips out there which also bolt up. The OE BMW Motorsport GT4 comes to mind. My GT4 has about 8 bolts at the front of the lip that required 8 holes to be drilled in the front bumper. It then uses the OE rear screw positions for both body screws/nuts and bolts. I am pretty sure I could stand on my front lip.... never tested that theory though.

Has been on the car for a while now, as I said 99%, if not 100%. There is no BS, and arkym products are good indeed, I have their diffuser too, sits perfectly. You might have got a knock-off or somewhat.
