Measuring using torque wrench help please?
I took my car to body shop and he told me using a torque wrench that it was about 220 lbs. Anyone get that high? is it suppose to be that high? It dont say in the manual.

If you mean wheels (since you posted in the wheels section), the consensus seems to be around 90 ft x lbs. 220 ft x lbs is way too high. Torque is measured in ft x lbs by the way, not lbs.

Torque mine at 90, 220 seems bit high. FYI I tested the torque as done by the factory before i took off the original wheels and it was about 88.

If you want a really good torque wrench, I recommend this one: http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/PRE-C3FR250F.html.

88 is the official spec, 90 is fine. 220 is way high. To the point where I might suspect either a stuck or cross threaded bolt.
