HELP: idrive controller stopped working after battery reconnected and jump started

Hi, guys. I had this weird problem with my idrive controller not working. Some back ground info is listed below and please forgive my english, after living in the state for nearly 8 years, I can still get rusty.

Happened to me. I went crazy trying to figure it out for a week. I ended up disconnecting the battery, turned the ignition on and off multiple times to make sure the car was dead. Then reconnected the battery. Everything worked fine. Go figure.

Check the controller fuse, it has its own fuse in the fusebox.
