STM FTW! They do tint job on a lot of exotic cars and all MFest Cars that were used at the last SEMA. The place have sofa, TV, sodas etc in a glass room. You can chill while watching them work on your car.

Those guys have like 10+ years of experience doing tint jobs on a lot of exotics... They know how to do the job right.

Sticker City surprisingly doesn't do tint, they refer to Sun Shield glass tinting across the street. I got my Range Rover SPort done there, they are good but I really like Distinctive Automtive in Woodland Hills, however since you said Westwood, 110% go to Startronics on Wilshire just past Bundy www.startronics.com

What does STM do about the window "dot matrix?" Vinyl? Sanding?
I've been quoted prices for ceramic tints ~$150-200 less than STM - is it really worth $400-500 for the job??
I think I'm pulling the trigger this upcoming week!

I asked the same question about the dot matrix via email to them and this was the answer I got. Hope this helps!

Along the dot matrix, before we install, we wet sand with a 600 grit. After installation we ask the customer to return in 2 weeks for a touch up service where we would then flatten out the air pocket and get the film to lay as flat as possible on the dot matrix. You can expect a 75% visual improvement. and thats about it.

Hann at STM does magic with HuperOptic Tint.

I live about 40 miles from his shop, but wouldn't go anywhere else. If you live in SoCal this is the place to go.
