Anyone has installed B Performance Steering with electronic

I bought the BMW PERFORMANCE STEERING VER2 with electronic display. Then I tried to install on my e92 M3. But I found it didn't work properly. E.g. Can't hold the display each function before Engine on and after off. Moreover I can't use DCT paddle shift.

Some owner who tried to install said this wheel is made for non-M like for e92/90 4-6cylinder models so it won't fit my m3.

Anyone know how I can make it work properly? Or is it impossible to install on e9x m3.

It works perfectly fine on my E92 M3 but I have a 6 spd manual. From what I gathered on the forums, M3s with DCT have a hard time installing this wheel as the memory gets erased or settings return to default.

I see,,, it's hard to install on M3 with M DCT right?

Yes I faced the memory trouble when I tried to install as well. The setting returns to default. Every time I start the engine, I have this trouble.
I can't understand why this problem happens on DCT model. Coz the steering function of 6 MT and model is not different from DCT model. It may be related to DCT system?
I wanna fix this problem...

People were saying that it is the DCT wiring that is causing the memory reset, since the car has a factory rev light setup in the cluster (where the 6 spd manual does not).

Try this setup:

Good luck! (BTW I just came back from Japan not too long ago, I want to go back already!)

awesome! you're the first person that i've read on the boards that have it working 100%

i wonder what they did different or have they made a new batch of wheels

maybe you could shed some light to help the DCT wheel issues people have had
