Caught the ///M fever!!

Just wanted to say hello to the "m" crowd and introduce myself! I just pulled the trigger on a 2011 M3 sedan with 39k on the clock. I'm hoping it will be ready for pick up by this weekend, it is being shipped in. I have been on the forum for awhile but on the e90 diesel side. I hate to let go of my 2011 335d but the "M" has been calling me for awhile now! Lol I will post some pics as soon as I pick up the new ride!! And yes I will do some performance mods! I have already ordered a few things! if there are any issues or reccomendations pertaining to the "M", please let me know! Thanks!

DCT, wanted a manual but had trouble finding one in the sedan. Seems manuals are a dime a dozen in the coupe! I have kids so the sedan was a must!Lol

E92's are everywhere...had to look far and wide to find the perfect E90 that I wanted...
How frustrating to find the right color with the right options @ the right price that were missing 2 doors...started to tell myself that it really wouldn't matter and that I wouldn't notice it down the road, but something inside just wouldn't let me pull the trigger on the coupes...
So glad I waited!!

I picked up a CPO 2011.75 E90 6MT myself last weekend and promptly drove it from NC to FL. These cars are few and far between. The extra doors made the wife's argument against it a little less strong. Plus, the Recaro baby seat looks kind of cool in the back. Thrilled with this beast of a car.

So far I have ordered...
Carbon fiber splitters
Shadow line kidney grills
Carbon fiber interior trim
H&R sport plus springs
Dinan carbon intake
Shopping for exhaust now, looking for the best sounding! Anyone have recommendations?

I have more items on my list but haven't gotten that far yet! Lol

Nice! I have the H&R race, and they give the rear a very aggressive look.

For a mean sounding exhaust? I recommend the IPE F1 exhaust. It's nice and tamed for steady driving. But then a touch of a button! And It's like king kong has broken out of its chains.

Hey, welcome to the world of ///M. The only thing I can think of to do sooner as to later would be an oil analysis to get an idea of how the engine is doing. These cars do seem pretty bulletproof though.

Cheers

Congrats, it seems like everyone that posted an introduction here lately bought a e90. If this is your first M car, you won't be disappointed! Well except for the horrendous gas mileage compared to the 335d but it'll make up for it in other ways!

Thanks for all the responses! this will be my 2nd M3, first one was an 06. Looks like my new/used M3 will be delivered first of the week! Wish it would get here sooner! Lol

Anyone have any first hand knowledge of the super sprint f1 exhaust system? Thinking about going with that one?
