MONSTER

I never write in unless I have a problem or concern. After playing Golf today I got home and had to post a quick note... THIS CAR IS SUCH A MONSTER I CAN'T BELEIVE IT'S ACTUALLY SOMETHING I OWN... I mean it's a beast that I will never master... I can't say enough about it and just feels as if it does everything well... I am just blown away with how high it revs and shifts and just straigh PULLS and PULLS I mean 2nd gear at 8300 RPMS is exotic sounding to me and when you shift into third it's just mental...I have never really thrown around a car in a turn but it's like you almost HAVE to in the M3... Thanks for letting me blurt out but man I love this car..

It's f'in sweet. I went out for a drive today and even though I'm only at 300 mi I was in S5 on the freeway and this thing is sweet even up to only 4.5k. Down shifts with DCT are intoxicating. I can't wait until I have the full rpm band available to me.

i feel the same way, I've had my car for exactly 20 days and have 1236 miles on it already tomorrow I have my 1200k service and I'm just amazed @ hot fantastic this car is, I 90% of the time I drive it around in comfort mode, power off, dsc on, but when I hit my M button set to Sport, Power On, MDC, Sport Plus, this thing is becomes something else, I've only hit the button about 4 times (saving it to have something to look forward to) this car just transforms into a MONSTA!!! (no pun intended) I can't wait to get my car back tomorrow afternoon and be able to go over 5500 rpm w/ out having to worry too much, won't be hiting 8300 rpm on every shift but I'll visit once in a while until I get to 3k miles....

Damn, all these stories that i read. I can't wait to experience the M3 for myself. I should be picking it up sometime in June. I keep my fingers crossed... Going from a 4 banger Acura RSX Type-S to a V8 M3 Beast, damn this should be interesting...

i hear you on that...the sound of the V8 gives me goosebumps everytime i stomp on the gas. I mean the M3 has been my dream car since i got my license a few years back (yes i'm 21 but pay for this beast myself) and it is an enormous step up from my E46 328Ci. I can't wait to really open her up after the 1200 miles service but i've already hit 6K rpm and I just wanted to keep going until 8400. I think the step up to V8 was the right thing for BMW and no other car in this price range links together the complete package like the E90/92 M3's. Hence The Ultimate Driving Machine

These stories are great.

They don't help with the fact that I have 5 months left on my 335i lease but they are nice to read. Hopefully I will be joining ranks in 5 months or less.

I hear you... You fly by someone at 8300 RPMs and they don't get mad - They pull up to the next light and give a big thumbs up! The pull from 5500 to redline is crazy.
