09 Orders... when are they shipping?

Anyone order an '09 M3 Sedan yet? Any idea when they'll ship and arrive here? (I'm in CA)

I believe the first week for production of '09 models (for the US) is Week 36 (first week of September). That would put them stateside around the third week of October.

I have a week 36 build and an assigned Production Number, but BMW's Owner's Circle still doesn't recognize it yet

Mine is week 37 also. My CA said last week of October, but you west coasties have a longer boat ride for your cars.

My CA told me that he had a production number for me, but I didn't have a pen to write it down. I'm not particularly interested yet, since nothing is going to happen for a couple of weeks anyway.

OK, according to my CA my car is in status 112 and PCD has accepted my desired delivery date of 23 October 2008, but still no status on BMW's Owner Circle

I got my production number from my CA and found out that my car has been bumped up to Week 36 (currently in Status 112), but my number still isn't in the Owner's Circle system either. That doesn't bother me nearly as much as still not knowing '09 pricing.

Mine's DCT and moved from week 37 back to week 39.

My CA informed me that my '09 E90 M3 has moved from Week 39 to Week 37. I ordered 6MT and 18s.

For a Week 37 build, when is the latest you can make changes to the order? I am little concerned because I want mine in Space Gray but it has not been confirmed for the US yet.

Not that I trust that info but my CA sent an email to a corporate regional manager and was told "There won't be Space Gray in M3 Sedan. There will be another unknown gray color and there is no time table yet when it will be announced.". I think it's bull and that the unknown gray color is Space Gray. I hate to order the car with that info unconfirmed though.

Charminar, where did you order yours from? I am with Bellevue. I guess we should get our car at about the same time.

I got notified that my status also changed to 112. Its still a week 37 build.. Nothing on the BMWUSA website..

My CA said that I have about one more week before options are locked.. I'm still debating the interior color. Right now it's Jerez Black with Silver Interior - thoughts?

FrenchBoy, I got mine from Seattle. There is one person in front of me in Seattle for 09 M3.

FrenchBoy, I got mine from Seattle. There is one person in front of me in Seattle.

I like that color combo, but it'll be fun to keep clean. Neither the dark exterior nor the light interior will hide dirt very well. That said, black on black is too dark.

Wow, I just got moved to Week 36! I was week 39 a little over a week ago and week 37 when I signed the deposit on Saturday. Strange. Maybe because my car is 6MT, no iDrive and 18s.

I haven't yet seen any correlation between options and bumping forward or backward of production dates. It's probably some stupid little part or some other reason entirely.

I didn't realize until today that Week 35 is actually the first of '09 production. Week 35 would scare me.
