What brands of diffusers will fit the E90 sedan? Seems like prices range from $400 on up? Sedan m3ers what are you using and was the fitment good?? Best price??? Where?

Pretty sure the only ones available are Hamman, 3D Design and Vorsteiner. Others claim they are coming out with them but no one has stepped up.

there was a group-buy of a diffuser to be made for e90 and the cost is below 500. You can do a little search to see if the deal is still around.

Indeed... the first vendor that cracks the $300 level will have my business, but at $1600 they can keep it tight.

+1 Not even the full Type I Vorsteiner Diffuser is $1600, not sure why it would be that much unless it has ACS stamped on it.

Yes, it is retail and now it is discounted, but the fact remains that somebody, somewhere thought that $1600 was a good price for this diffuser.

any e90 rear diffusers that aren't carbon fiber? i have jerez black and i just don't think it will look good i'd rather it painted and save a couple dollars. Nothing else is carbon except the interior.

well you have to think about it. you can afford an M3, so parts like those are going to have those kind of prices.

I wish that it was that simple and straight forward, but it is not. All these CF pieces prices are ridiculous. It is the people that blindly pay those prices that somehow are used to this stupidity that allow this to continue. Just because I bought an M3 does not imply that I'm supposed to pay extra just because I got an M3.

One thing is the nature of the limited demand for these items that would make the pricing to be higher than what is reasonable, that's understandable. But again, somebody, somewhere thought that $1600 was a fair price for a diffuser that right now Eclipse Motors can sell -profitably I assume- for less than $500. Even that $1600 diffuser with a discount -$900- still is ridiculous.

But hey, it is all good. There is a market for both "genuine" and replica CF pieces so everybody can be satisfied, the "I pay whatever it is asked just because I have an M3" and the "Are you fucking serious?" customers.
