There are a number of different factors that have to be addressed before giving an answer.

-Suspension
-Wheel size
-Tire size and brand
-Offsets of the wheels

Brandon, Tom,

Would there be any rubbing/issues with 15mm rear and 18mm front on the stock EDC/springs setup especially going over the many speed bumps here in the UK?

Dumb question...

The stock 19's are ET29 and ET23 offsets. If you put a 12 on the front and 15 on the back, does that mean the offsets are now effectively 17 and 8? Is it then the same as buying rims that have a ET17 and ET8 offset without spacers?

I have 12mm front and rear with stock 19" wheels and H&R springs. The rear tires rub anytime I have people in the back seats. It's not noticeable when driving in that I don't hear any rubbing, but when I look at the tires (after recently applying tire dressing on them) and I can see the rub marks. Probably wouldn't rub with stock springs but 12mm spacers definitely cause the tires to rub the rear fenders when the suspension is compressed enough. I don't know how some of the other guys get by with 15mm or greater rear spacers with stock 19s. The only solution I can see is to shave off the plastic fender liner (it rubs on this, not the actual metal fender).

I just put the MS spacers on my OEM 19s. 15mm in front and 12mm in rear. It adds an aggressive look. I thought it was subtle, but my wife noticed right away and she think it looks great.

Followed the DIY religiously, no vibration at all.

I really want to put 15F/12R but I've always been anti-spacer, due to possible damage to wheelbearings/or suspension vibrations as my main concerns but can anyone who ran this setup for a long period of time pitch in with any inputs? thanks

Would be tits to do this because they look so damn fine. Hard finding a aftermarket wheel with same quality and look as semigloss powdercoated OEM 19's with spacers. Just my $0.2.

What wheel locks are you using?

I had a similar setup with HR spacers and they didn't come with wheel locks and I'm having trouble finding some for this size.

Sorry for being off topic but
I'm thinking of getting the 18" volks vr.g2 but the front is +15mm 18x9.5, i realize that is close to the stock 18s + 15mm spacers in the front. According to the calculator, it would have more clearance on the strut side. but alot less on the outer fender side. Would it have issues with rubbing? I'm planning on running 265/35/18 or 275/35/18 on it.

I'm not gonna get new rims on my car...i like the OEM 19"S alot...but your set up looks sweet with the spacers.....so do you think 12 and 15 is the best?
I had this setup on my stock 19's before I got my Advans. It looked awesome. You wouldn't think about a cm and a cm-and-a-half would make that much difference but it really does. Highly recommended if you stay with stock. I also got mine from EAS (Tom, not the other guy... just kidding ).

with 18/15...and H&R springs, is there any rubbing at all? Speed bumps, full lock turns, etc?

Brandon, Tom?

Any help is appreciated...I love the look, but don't want to risk rubbing under any circumstances.

thanks

the h&r is a more aggressive drop I think 18/15 would definitely rub on NYC streets and hopefully you dont have a lip so it doesnt get shredded lol. I decided against the drop cuz I want to enjoy the power instead of being worried about my front end
