Add one to the AA Green filter fanclub. Took advantage of the recent Labor day free shipping promotion to get the filter and a cleaning kit. Slapped it in tonight in about 15 minutes. One spin around the block later, and I have no idea if there's any additional hp, but it sure sounds like there is!

Anyone have the AA green filter with an Akra Evo exhaust? Wondering if it produces the same resonance between 3-4k RPM as some of the aftermarket intakes.

Might be tough to catch the induction noise unless you have a good mic setup.

Yep, the noise is the about the same though the volume is slightly higher with a pleated oiled cotton type filter. I have the AA Green filter, too. Note that the BMW OEM air filter part is referred to by BMW as an "intake silencer"!
