VRS bootlid with trunk closing handle recesses?

Hello guys,

As you guys know there are two tunk closing handle recesses on the interior trim of the bootlid, but with VRS bootlid, it seems like only one (driver's side) handle is usable. (The other side handle feels like its not attached or supported to bootlid to grap it to close the trunk)
How's yours? can you use both handles to close the bootlid?

I have the same problem. To be precise, it's on the right side of the bootlid.

Anyway, even if it's usable, I dont think you can close the bootlid with them like you used to with the OEM trunk anymore. It's so light and it would shoot right back up into your face!

Thanks for quick reply endofanera7, and you are correct, the right side of the bootlid.
I was so shocked when I opened the VRS bootlid first time, because it was flying into my face!!

haha you are welcome!

Did you get your new bootlid painted? If you need paint, I can hook you up with someone who does top notch job. His paint shop uses only Standox Paint from Germany and of course, at a fair price.
