Too late, I already purchased the Mini a while back and they work great.

I know this is pretty old, but is there an answer to this? I installed last night to the same spot as the standard seatbelt (under the cover on driver's seat), but the anchor digs into the seat bolster badly. Wondering if it is ok to bend the anchor away from the seat?

Garage List
Bend the tab as necessary but no more than 90 degrees in any direction. I remove the outboard seat mounting bolt just under the driver seat. Slip the stubby end Schroth piece under the rail, and bolt it back down. It rubs nothing.

Thanks that incredibly helpful! (I still haven't installed mine but now that I know I will)

How did you get the side panel off the seat to reach the bolt? Do you have pictures, by chance?

I found a link to the TIS removal instructions here: <http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=794807>, but a) the diagrams are not terribly clear, b) they're for an E92 so may not be accurate for E90.
