Squeaking Noises

I hear pretty loud squeaking noises in the car cabin when I go over speed bumps or up drive ways... anyone else have this problem? Is this normal?

I've read it is normal for E90s, I used to have the squeaks. Funny enough after I got my car detailed, the squeaks went away. A friend of mine told me that the rubber seals around the door probably were not lubricated enough and it caused the squeaks. I know the detailer used something on the rubber seals, hence why the squeaks went away. Anyone on the forum who also experienced this, if I'm wrong please correct me.

Try lubricating the door rubber seals with one of these:

Vaseline
Silicone grease spray

i've got a little vibrating noise right by my left ear. Coming from the door pillar or maybe just below the door lock. Drives me nuts. Noticed it less than a mile from picking up the car at the dealership. Told them about it when I got the 1200 mile service done. They didn't do squat about it.

OP: This is a common issue. Search the Forum for the following topic "2010 E90 M3 With Bad Squeaking / Creaking in Front" It was well documented on how to solve.

I now have my Dealership treat the door seals every 3 months - No more squeaks.

Good luck,
Chris
