Is the wind deflector worth it?

Hi guys
I should be getting my E93 in about 4 weeks. I was wondering, does the wind deflector make a big difference? Do you recommend it?
Thanks

Looks lame. Just roll with the windows up when you need quiet for the phone or the lady's hair kept neat.

Wind deflector... do you mean the spolier on the trunk lid...? The only draw back is, it can be a pain in the ass to clean around... I can never seem to be able to dry all the water up that gets in the tape seam.

no I'm talking about the actual big deflector installed over the back seats.

I think that having the windows up with the top down also looks lame. Tell "the lady" to use a hair tie. I sometimes even keep a couple in the console so she has no excuse. If I truly needed things quiet or non-windy, then I would just put the top up.

E93 M3 does not have a spoiler. We do have the mini sharkfin to clean around back there though.

Helped a lot in my E46 at highway speeds. Didn't need the ghey windows up look to keep the noise and wind to a reasonable level.

Use it when my wife (long hair) is in the car - leave it off when cruising alone. It is way too expensive if you don't care about getting a little extra wind and noise - kinda the reason to own a vert.

LOL, no. Just think it looks weird, esp if you have tinted windows. Also most of the wind issues in my old car came from the wind swirling around behind the rear headrests and coming back forward between the front seats. The deflector deals with that really well.
