side door protection in the M3 GTS?

So we know that the standard M3 has air bags in the seats. The GTS has Recaros without an airbag right? Is there any added protection or is the
GTS just lacking protection in this area?

Is there anything else compensate for the lack of an airbag? Reinforced door etc... I don't think the roll/harness bar extends forward of the seat.

Only U.S. citizens enjoy the protection of seat airbags (and the cost, the weight, and the unavailability of limited edition vehicles).

LOL. US auto laws are f*$&ing rediculous. You can drive a motorcyle with no helmet in my state, but you can't buy a car that doesn't have 300lbs of safety equipement, TPMS, stability control, etc.

Apperantly us lame car drivers can't take care of ourselves, but a 16 year old with a Gixxer is just fine on his own.

I'm not advocating for more safety requirements on motorcycles, but less requirements on cars. Let the consumer decide!!!

The ironic unintended consequence of all of the safety requirements are cars that are heavier, and thus get worse gas milage and cars that are more expensive, so people continue to drive their less safe, heavier poluting cars longer.

It's the antithesis of Darwinism. And then the fuckers reproduce. Thank God Volvo is not very popular in this country or we'd have more stupid people survive when darwin says they should have died.

More on point. Why would you care that the GTS does not have side airbags unless you are trying to win a bet?

If you have a GTS, doubt side airbags is on your check list. It has a roll cage but if your on the track driving fast, Because thats the only place you should do it lol, then if you crash eh you should have other problems.

Wait, they dont sell these in America do they?
