Adaptive Headlights - Useful or irritating?

Anyone else with me in that the adaptive headlight feature really isn't all that useful? To me it also is a little irritating because I always find myself "watching" the lights move when I'm turning. Just curious to see if anyone really loves this feature and why?

Pretty useful when in twisty roads with poor light at night, but that's pretty much the only time they come in handy, at least for me

adaptive lights only work when you have the headlights set to automatic. Turn the lights on manually and they will not come on.

Incredibly useful where I live.

You can adjust them somewhat via coding.

Good to see they are useful. I probably just need to give them a chance and try to get over looking at them. I need to adjust my headlights anyhow, they are pointed very low compared to my old E90 335.

I find the movement much more subtle on my E92 M3 vs my E90 335i. They seem to have a broader range on the 335i as well as being more noticeable when they move.

I love this feature on the twisty backroads at night... Helps visibility quite a bit.

Very useful, I think all BMWs should come standard with Xenons and Adaptive Headlights

I drive really dark roads at nite after work. I really try to watch them work. Maybe someone can persuade me to be super impressed? Cornering lights, i'm even more lukewarm on them.

Maybe we should just get a boring strip of led lights light everyone else has! Jk!

Between the HID and adaptive, yes, they are useful for me, mostly urban driving. I had a E90 w Halogen, I used the think "meh" on HIDs but they are much better since I can compare them with the ones on the M3 (duh).

I flip flop on DRLs, sometimes I think they are dorky and other times I think people just don't see the car, so I turn them on. Not sure if it's because of the size of the E92 vs. the SUVs these days or what.

I find the high-beam assist more helpful than the turning feature.

I don't notice them at all in my area. Too many street lights. When I go outside the urban area, I find the lights on this car to be very inadequate in general. Adjusting them up a bit helped...
