Beautiful car ALMS, when you are ready, take a look at this http://www.softronic.us/buynow.php . Have fun and be careful.

I have a couple of friends with modded 996 turbos and they are monsters at the track. I am able to compete with many GT3s, but these cars just go right by me.

I do. First thing that went on mine were HRE P43s. I put snow tires on my stockers. And yes its awesome in the snow. Softronic tune is great, you can flash and un-flash at home. You can get serious power out of that motor with little effort. Good luck and enjoy. PS always use the Sport Button.

I've never been really sold on Softronic. This may be because I was within driving range of EPL and would much rather get a good dyno tune than one off the shelf.

My cousin has been looking for a good tune for his 996turbo, I haven't heard about this company before and from what I see on their site the price seems resonable. Any additional comments to add about this flash seems very close to my tune for the m3. Sorry op not meaning to hijack.

Don't read too far into it but Softronic is a pretty decent tune off the shelf for the Turbo. However, if you're on the NE side of the country, I'd go with EPL. They really know what they're doing. EVOMS is another company that specializes in tunes for the Turbo. Those two would be my first pick over anything else.
Learn from my mistake. Just go with whats been proven for the P-Car. I've tried everything from Upsolute and parts from Agency Power and regretting even throwing money that way. EVOMS, Protomotive, EPL should be your choices when talking about modding P-cars. |

Marsaki from 911tuning.com has extensive experience as well with really reasonable pricing. 911tuning.com however doesn't have a big base like EVOMS or Protomotive does.

Thanks man. I have put about 200 miles on her. My god, the car is a blast to drive. First four mods --- lowered, wheels, tune and exhaust. This is going to put a hurting on my wallet. |

Although it is prone to failure, it is by far the best wing for street driving. Very stylish and purposeful. Honestly, I'd feel like a bit of a tool with a larger wing on the back. Track is a whole other ballgame.
