Def not a dead animal. I don't see any blood. Maybe the transporter went to red lobster.

HAHA....

UPDATE:

The dealership called and said that when the detailing shop went to clean what it was that it kind of burst I guess... and got on the detailers neck and shirt. Anyway supposedly the detailer threw up in my car so now it is all going to be free!

I wish....

You should have set up a hidden camera and mic to record everyone's reaction at the dealer!

This kind of reminds me of this guy I knew that went to the fish market, bought a fish, and proceeded to lose it under the passenger seat and forgot about it. He went on vacation for two weeks and came back to the horrendous odor of rotten fish!

I say just for respect for the devotees of this thread you pile up the potato, grab some bacon and make a nice pork hash.

Once they had the seat off of the mounts my service manager said that it looked like a potato...

I went grocery shopping about a month ago and bought red potatoes and the bag broke open... guess one rolled way far under the seat and I didn't see it.

That's what a crushed potato will do after 1 month and constant 90 degree heat... YUCK
sure looks like it was more than one

Ya brah, my smell is all *@)!@%# up...

I'll probably go to that them der smell doctor and have my non working nose checked.

In all seriousness, potato rolled around, got squished. I probably drove around with it there for 1 week. Next week car got put on transport. Sat in 100+ degree heat in transport for next week. So now were at about 2 weeks. As soon as I got my car back I knew it smelled weird but thought maybe it was from being in the transport etc.

Waited another week or so and thought it would go away, finally used my broken non working nose and dug around a bit and then found that dem der &%#@@* potato.

I once put a liver sausage and onion sandwich under the bench seat of one of my coworkers cars as a gag one summer. A few weeks later, it was a horrible mess and we all got our asses handed to us. The boss was pissed. (Company car) Still, it was worth it. So, I feel your pain and I see the humor in the situation.
