Well too bad this thread isn't about your feelings. It's about the Turbo S and neither you nor anyone else has yet to provide just one good justification for why it costs over $200k, especially when another competitor can provide a car just as good for half the price.

You clearly don't get it. Having said that, I would rather have a Singer 911 for the same money as a new Turbo. Now I am sure your mind is blown! Not only a car with a 40+ year old design but an actual car that is 40+ years old!

And guess what. You can wait for "JUSTIFICATION" for the cost for as long as you please, but it is something that doesn't need to be justified to you or anyone else.

I am not waiting for anything. If you wanna blow off your money on a Frankenstein cult car that no one outside of Rennlist cares about then that's your choice. Enjoy the pats on the back from the handful of Porsche fanatics who know better than to think you're driving a 40 year old 911 because you can't afford a newer model

IMO yes the Turbo Porsche is priced crazy, but there's no justification for any of these High caliber sports cars. They're all priced ridiculous.

That being said, they're priced at a point people are willing to pay so it is what it is

True. totally agree. But at least with other cars like a 12C or 458 they are rare and exclusive, and they have the presence of an exotic car. So at least the crazy price tag gets you something in return. You can spend 200k on a 991 Turbo S and most people won't tell it apart from a 15 year old base model 996 Carrera

This whole statement shows why you buy a car and it doesn't even remotely resemble my criteria for a car. I couldn't care less what people think about 'why' I choose the cars I drive or certainly not 'how much I paid' for it. Pats on the back? Really? LoL, again I don't need anyone or any car for that matter to stroke my ego. In fact, I would rather be the guy with the white tee shirt, jeans and flip flops, in the car I enjoy driving that people think is just another 40yo Porsche. I know it's much more than a "Frankenstein" car, something very special.

You put more importance on show, you want to "drop the jaws of guys, and the panties on girls" or you "want something that would scare other motorists on the road into getting the heck out of my way" as you say. So I don't own a single Affliction shirt, bedazzled True Religion jeans, I don't every use the word Bro and just I don't care about any of the things you think are important in a car. In all your posts, you just talk about how others would perceive you in that "exotic' car and never mention how it might drive. You sound exactly like my 12yo nephew when we talk about cars, true story.

Hey MrMetak, are you the Metak from the Metak diffuser by any chance!?

If so, a big congrats and a thank you for doing that piece, I think it's the most beatifull diffuser out there(and to my luck it's also the cheapest ), I think the car could've have come with it straight from the factory and that's the reason I decided to order one from EAS even if I usually don't like aftermarket exterior mods! Can't wait to have it install!

This isn't a GTR vs Turbo S thread. Move on.
I didn't say I couldn't see a refinement difference. I said it wasn't worth the additional price. Move on if you like but I would suggest not telling other people what to do.

He told me what I could, and couldn't, compare my GT-R to earlier in this thread. Hey Longborder, bring your 9 second turbo S to TX2k and watch it get CRUSHED by GT-Rs.

Yes that's me. I am not in the aftermarket vendor business but had fun with the designing(CAD), development and production of the diffuser. I am pretty proud of it. Tom at EAS is a great guy who I trusted to promote and sell the diffuser(exclusively) for me.

The cost was kept low intentionally to decrease the financial incentive for cheaper copycats. It was a very expensive project but well worth the experience. It is going to look good on your gray car with the other black accents! Here is a picture a guy from back east sent in after install. His is paired with the akra exhaust, looks super!

Oh yeah it must been a lot of work to create a piece like that, but still a fun process I guess, anyway you should be proud cause you'll make a lot of happy owner!

And yeah I've seen those pics, really nice, personnally I prefer those ones, same exhaust as me! I decided to go with the mate finish to keep it more discret and to fit with the grill in the rear bumper! Can't wait to install it!!

Seriously, what is your malfunction?
If you hate Porsche..great.

All you do is jump into threads slapping at people's opinions like a little girl.
Why not stay in threads where you "may" have something of value to contribute?

Insulting people for your own jollies is childish and shows poor taste.
You don't know anyone you're insulting.

Prove why it costs 180k?
Lordy.

But certainly not when cars are judged very objectively. The "problem" is that so much of our thoughts and feelings about cars are emotional and subjective. I do like looking at performance per dollar, however, I also like "nice" interiors which is somewhat subjective.
