Presenting the ultra light, yet affordable one piece rotary forged Forgestar CF5 wheels. These wheels are made to order with custom offsets available, to fit your E9X M3 perfectly without the need for spacers or fender adjustments.

They are made to clear BBKs standard and utilize a rotary forged inner barrel - the same technology used on Formula 1 and Indy race vehicles. Available in standard and deep concave profiles.

Rotary Forged / Flow Formed Cast - Technical Information
This specialized process begins with a low pressure type of casting and uses a special machine that spins the initial casting, heats the outer portion of the casting and then uses steel rollers pressed against the rim area to pull the rim to its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning create a rim area with the strength similar to a forged wheel. During Flow Forming, the pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. The resulting grain structure within the alloy of the wheel is linear, flowing in a single direction.

Not that I don't take your word for it, but if there were some way to prove that, I'd be sold.

Not yet unfortunately, these wheels were just released and nobody has had a chance to put these on an E9X M3 yet.

If you want to see how they'd look like, just reference ADV.1 F-Specs, which are almost identical in style.

are the pictures of deep concave?
In the future, will there any way of seeing pictures of the rims in all the different sizes and offsets? I'd be interested in the 19x10 with the lowest offset possible for M3 fitment, but would not want to pull the trigger until I knew how concave they were

Not yet, these wheels were just released so I don't have any pictures for reference unfortunately. I will take pictures of every set that I sell for everyone's reference in the future...

Here's some pics of the CF5 wheel showcased on ECSTuning's car at this year's Bimmerfest, in custom lime green finish.
