You can't look at it that way though, comparing a stripper M3 (60k) vs a fully loaded M3 with Performance part.

When you add the price of all those options + Individual paint, it will cost more than the LRP Edition M3 anyway.

Now if you think that the Performance parts aren't worth the $$ to let's say other aftermarket vendors, that's a completely different story.

my local dealer has one of these on the showroom floor...the color is not for me but it does make a statement...they want a $20k markup over msrp for the car...so if you thought it was bad at msrp, how does $100k sound?

the dealerships i worked with in looking at them each loaded minus the sunroof, one was dct and one was manual, were "only" looking at a 2-3k dealer mark up...but if you really want the status of the limited edition, why not? pretty sweet color.

This is an excellent example of "not worth it"

Well I seen one in person at my local dealership, it's gorgeous. I sat in it and love the steering wheel. I'm not a BMW or an m3 owner. I have a c6Z06 and I'm debating on trading in my Z for this M but damn it's alot of coin!!!! Am I crazy for considering the LImerock? Maybe but I do spend my time at that track and it would be a nice change coming from a Z to this. Oh and Im new to the DCT tranny. Never experienced it but hear amazing things about it. Some body talk
Me out of this decision lol

If you plan to buy it- might be worth it for future resale value.
If you dont mind the color then i guess its a good idea, what dealership did you see one in?

Thanks for all the input, I just locked up the 6MT Lime Rock i've been considering, with great pricing. Going to be out of town so can't go down and pick it up until next week.

Very excited and despite all the naysayers about how this isn't worth the money and so forth. Forget it, Exhaust, wheel and unique paint alone is worth it to me.

I like my cars to remain looking stock and with these mods. albeit mostly cosmetic, its a perfect blend of stock and uniqueness.

Thanks to Hothonda for pushing me over the edge.

That didn't take long...congratulations Mark!

Anybody know the mix of 6 speed manuals and DCT? Cars with black wheels from the factory
amounted to only 10% - per dealer - of the total # of cars.... Something about "inventory of wheels available from BMW.

Not A Limerock. No sticker on the back windshield and if u tool it off that just be plain dumb.. I tinted mine over the sticker and came out perfect.

Your all wrong

The car was built for the US market since they built A GTS in Europe. People here wanted A true limited edition M3 not some frozen BS and they only built 200.. 50 with black wheels and 150 with silver, the cars value is def already being upped since I tried seeing what I'd get for mine being number 1, vin verified and Limerock reps keep calling to get the car to the track and Ferrari nor BMW or Mercedes can give me an accurate trade off! Porsche wanted to swap A 2011 911 turbo conv. For even swap and I said fk that.. That's over 100K so again, if your not sure what ur saying then don't say it. Cars prediction to jump up to 200K in 2 yrs is accurate since the GTS in Europe doubled its price the same way... Just sayn
