No CD changer?
So I have had the car since July and just today I noticed that I didnt have a CD changer(mainly because I use my iPhone) when I saw another M3 owner's trunk)
My options are as follows.. Premium Package, Technology Package, 19", iPod&USB, Enhanced Premium Sound, Sat. Radio Does that mean I would need to buy one from my dealer? Because some people have this but I dont. Here is Greg's car with the 6-disc CD changer http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...37&postcount=7 Here is my trunk

You are correct...no CD Changer for you. In order for you to have the set up that is in Greg's car, you would have to go to the dealer and order the CD Changer, the replacement trunk panels, and then pay for them to install the parts.
I thought when I bought my E90 that since it had the Enhanced Premium Sound package it would have a CD Changer. You can imagine my surprise on delivery day that it does not indeed come with that package. The dealer gave me a quote to install the CD Changer and when I saw it was a little over $1,000 I decided I would become very used to using the USB and iPod connections.

And no... no CD Changer is available either factory standard or optional in any USA M3. That's a dealer-install accessory. |

I have HD is why my car came with it. I didn't realize the difference when I ordered. I will use the changer space for something, maybe the euro fist aid kit.

My '09 Coupe has HD radio, Satellite radio, enhanced sound option and mine came without the little door. The '09's with the HD for storing music now doesn't include the little door. Part of my deal was a CD changer, so the dealer had to install the left panel with the door. Do I need a CD changer with the iPod and HD for storing music?....nope. I have the CD changer because I have to have all the goodies....options and accessories offered by BMW. It's just me. With the HD you really don't need the iPod anymore either, although any bought music from iTunes will not load/play through the HD.

Guys, I'm going to be trading my 08 M3 for a X5 35d. I purchased a CD changer for the M3, so plan to take it out before its traded. If anyone is interested in it, shoot me off a PM. Cheers, Adrian
